This often occurs because the <strong>shape of the face and jaw changes<\/strong> with age and the bone beneath the denture gradually <strong>resorbs<\/strong>, causing the denture to lose its stability inside the mouth.<\/p><p>As a result, dentures may feel uncomfortable, unstable or less functional during everyday activities such as speaking and chewing.<\/p><p>Denture repair and relining are performed by the dentist through <strong>the taking of a dental impression<\/strong>.
